FEAR THE TRIBE

To celebrate the fact that both of our Brawl Stars teams qualified for the 2022 Brawl Stars Mid Season Invitational in Sweden, we built an extensive social media campaign to make sure that this moment was highlighted effectively. To capture the joyful mood that is within Brawl Stars and the long awaited Swedish Summer, we developed a fresh exclusive style for this campaign but with a new approach that would stand out from what our audience is used to.

ILLUSTRATIONS

Inspired by the players characteristics, personalities and heritages whilst mixing in some Tribe and Brawl Stars references as well, we designed multiple styles of 'doodles' and scrapbook drawings that helped showcase the playful and fun vibes that both our players and Brawl Stars harnesses. 








PLAYERS KIT

Each player received a personalized social media kit that included a header and profile picture. On the headers, we took key characteristics of each player's gameplay & persona and inserted them as doodles. We brought out similar characteristics in the player's profile picture that also was illustrated in a Brawl Stars' Brawler portrait design.

GAMEDAY COVERAGE

Our standard match day coverage assets are a healthy mix of key visuals with lifestyle images of the team in and around Jönköping, Sweden. Matching the vibe of the overall branding of this campaign, we allowed our players to be less serious and instead sprinkle in their personalities.

PHOTOGRAPHY & FILM


We flew a content team to Sweden with the mission of showing to our fans more of these guys' personalities, backgrounds, struggles, emotions and joyous moments during such a big tournament.

The result is a great documentary about their journey and some amazing pictures.
