RiftMSTRS

Visual Identity
Inspired by the game itself, we developed RiftMSTRS to have a simple but captivating visual, that evoked the energy themed within the game and amplified it in our key visuals.
Consistency of colors, shapes, and movements across all motion and graphic design were a leading rule and the result was a ultra clean and modern identity that still clearly affiliates with the core vibe of the League of Legends: Wild Rift universe.
Logo & Key Visual
Logo & Key Visual
The logo takes the main objective of the game, the Nexus, into the center encompassed by lanes to as a compliment. The Key Visuals are inspired by the idea of a "Rift", representing the impact that RiftMSTRS has in the Wild Rift community.
We built an extensive series of sub-logos for our weekly shows, tournaments, and special events. Unification of typography, shapes, and colors made it possible to build a vast universe of logos, that are individually impactful yet still resemble the core identity of RiftMSTRS. The usage of a flashy, consistent, and organic motion design brought another layer of depth and cohesion for this visual universe.
RiftMSTRS Invitational
To kick off the RiftMSTRS universe with a bang, we invited the top 4 North American teams to compete in a $1,000 winner takes all tournament. We crafted a complete broadcast package and various social media promotions for the event, which also gave a first look at our coverage assets.

Each month, we awarded a pro player the Most Valuable Summoner award. This was given to a player that really shined within the competition and highlighted their best plays of the month.

Tips & Tricks
Wild Rift players need to learn how to play somehow, thus came our Tips & Tricks series, where we had pro players showcase a in-game trick or mechanic that wasn't widely known.
RiftMSTRS Tournament Series
The core of this whole project is the community tournament series. We designed and executed a complete competitive environment.
During five weeks of play, we had three open qualifiers, a last chance qualifier, and the playoffs. For this, we built numerous social media designs and complete broadcast package.
Social Graphics
As part of coverage and promotion, an extensive series of static assets were produced to showcase important information, bracket updates, and more.
Nexus Nightmare Pro AM Cup
On Halloween, we invited pro players and content creators to battle it out for a $10,000 prize pool. We designed a logo and unique visual identity that gave our RiftMSTRS branding a spooky twist and incorporated that into the social media coverage of the event. The execution and broadcast were done in partnership with Estars.
